Meet Sydney Hapi | Te Mauri Hauora
Practitioner of Access Bars® and Wairua-based Healing
Kia ora, my name is Sydney Hapi. I am of Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāti Porou, Rongowhakaata, and Rongomaiwahine descent. My journey into healing has been one of deep personal transformation — a path that continues to teach me the value of presence, reconnection, and clearing what we no longer need to carry.
I created Te Mauri Hauora as a space to support others in returning to their own natural state of balance. It’s a place to release, to realign, and to feel more like yourself again — grounded, clear, and connected to your mauri.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing isn’t just for us individually — it’s also for our whānau, our tamariki, and our mokopuna. When we do the inner work to clear the energetic, emotional, and spiritual burdens we carry, we help to break intergenerational patterns and offer a lighter path forward for those who come after us.
I offer Access Bars®, a gentle yet powerful modality that involves lightly touching specific points on the head to support the release of limiting thoughts, emotional patterns, and stuck energy. Clients often describe it as deeply calming, clarifying, and unexpectedly profound — like clearing mental clutter to make space for more ease and alignment.
While Access Bars® is the modality I offer, the true essence of the session is about creating safe and sacred space. A space where you are honoured exactly as you are. A space where your wairua can exhale. Where the mind quiets, the body softens, and the mauri begins to move again.
My mahi is deeply intuitive and always grounded in respect — for your pace, your whakapapa, and your personal journey. Whether you're feeling energetically heavy, emotionally overwhelmed, or just ready to reconnect with your inner clarity, you're welcome here.
Alongside one-on-one sessions, I’m also passionate about empowering others to share this work. I’ll be teaching an Access Bars® Training at Be Different Studio on Sunday, 10th August, for those who feel called to learn this powerful modality for themselves, their clients, or their whānau.
I’m excited to be part of the community at Be Different Studio and to offer this mahi in a space that values authenticity, sovereignty, and collective well-being.
✨ If you feel the call, I invite you to book a session, join the training, or simply come and see what this work might hold for you.
