Our Purpose
Be Different Studio is a community wellbeing hub, a place of connection, growth, and transformation. We welcome all who seek to nurture their mind, body, and spirit. It comprises of a group space and two treatment rooms which are available for rent which allows multiple practitioners to work here. This is a space where people can be themselves, feel supported, and explore new possibilities with courage and joy.
Our Values
Hauora (Wellness) – We honour holistic wellbeing, creating a space that nurtures the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of life acknowledging that we are all multidimensional beings.

Guidelines for the Space
Respect the Wairua (Spirit) of the Space – This is a place for healing, learning, and connection. Treat it with care and intention.
Manaakitanga (Kindness & Care) – Extend warmth and generosity to others. We share this space, and our presence influences the energy within it.
Whanaungatanga (Community & Connection) – Foster a sense of belonging. Introduce yourself, engage with others, and contribute positively to the space.
Noho Mārie (Keep It Calm & Clean) – Keep noise levels appropriate, clean up after yourself, and leave the space as you found it.
Honour Tikanga (Agreed Practices) – Follow the guidelines for room use, bookings, and equipment to ensure fairness and flow.
Acknowledge the Tūpuna (Ancestors) of the Land – Before beginning your work here, take a moment to ask permission to work here from the ancestors of this land and to thank them when you leave. This honours their presence and maintains the integrity of the space.
